Break or break through.
Woke up on Friday not quite feeling right and continued to deteriorate thru the day. Got home from work and didn't feel like eating - not a good sign - I like eating. Went to be and woke several hours later vomiting and with the shivers. Didn't get out of bed till after midday and still felt terrible. Rest of the day spent in front of the fire and watching dvds. Missed Striders 10k race - bummer ! I have trained really well for the last 5 weeks - not missing a session but I guess when you push hard it's a fine line you tread in regards to your imune system.
Felt better this afternoon so went for a slow jog - 8k in 39 mins. Pulled up o.k.
Total for the week 58k - for 5 days.
Plan to take it easy for the next few days before c2s next Sunday.
