10 x 1 min on/off
Ran from home to Petersham oval - 3k warm-up in 14 minutes, very unenthusiastically.
Did 10 x 1 min on/off covering 5k in 19 minutes. As is often the case, warmed into the session as each rep got quicker and ended up feeling quite good. (covered almost 3k in the 10 minutes of sprints).
Ran home 3k in 13.30.
Total 11k.
Decided that I am going to have a go at Canberra Marathon next year - that gives me six months to get my a into g. I am currently reading about Lydiards training methods - and will put together a training plan soon.

Glad you are doing Canberra - now Bru will have someone to follow and I will have at least 2 people to cheer for :-).

Good to see you are coming to Canberra in 06. The 30th year so it should be a big race.
