Catching up ....
Managed to get a run in on Friday evening at about 7.30pm for an hour or so from home via the bay, Victoria rd and home again - 13k.
Didn't run on Saturday, slept in and then didn't get out later.
Ran from home on Sunday for about 55 minutes before meeting up with the usual suspects. The wind was really strong around the Bay this morning, which made it hard going when running into it. But, when it was behind your back, was great. Had a good solid run this morning covering 27k in 2.02 (4.30 pace exactly) running the 15k-20k split in 20.12. Took awhile to warm-up this morning with the first 3k at 5 min pace but kept it pretty steady after that.
Total for the week - 84k.
Should see a slight increase again in intensity this week as well as a bit more distance. Legs felt pretty good today - can still feel the achilles slightly but icing seems to work pretty well.
