Recovery is good !
Firstly, Thanks for all the comments on the blog. I'll probably be out at SMC on Sunday to jog the 10k with Nick (and Sam in the pram) to catch up with a few people.
Woke up Monday feeling not bad but the blisters on my left foot were throbbing and I was walking downstairs like a tinman - survived work though. Went for a 30 min walk and threw in a few jogged laps of the grass oval nearby.
Tuesday after work definitely felt better - leg soreness much better but blisters still a bit angry - ran for 30 mins very slowly.
Wednesday feeling much better - ran to Petersham oval, did a few laps on the grass and back for about 8k.
Thursday went to Runclub with my daughter Bella - did a rolling Bay with the group. Bella did her first ever complete lap of the Bay.
Friday got out for a very easy 20 mins - not much but good to just turn the legs over, running a few laps on the oval again.
Saturday - 30 mins of laps around Camperdown oval - bit boring but nice on the legs.
Sunday - Very hot and windy in Sydney today (34 deg) - slept in and didn't get out until after 5.00pm. Ran 13k in 58 mins - legs felt good but wasn't really into it.
Total about 50k.
Got a few other health issues (dental) to sort out now the marathon is over - time to get them fixed up before the next onslaught begins.

Great stuff Steve. I've only just caught up with your blog. It was great to see you on the Cahill ahead of Ray Wareham on target for your sub 3. It's great to see someone achieve a big goal after putting in all the hard work along the way. Keep enjoying the recovery and savour the moment. Well done!
Good recovery week 26. Keep taking it easy.
I like that Cahill Expressway photo - must have felt great running along there with the cheersquad going and ahead of the 3 hour pacer.
