Fartlek 'round Sydney Uni
2.5k warm-up jog from home to St.Pauls oval at Sydney Uni.
GPS ran out of batteries so I couldn't do my planned session of mona fartlek, so instead
just made up my own. Ran 20 minutes of 1 lap hard, 1 lap easy on grass oval. Each lap was about 500m.
Did 10 minutes of drills plus 10 x 100 strides.
3 lap cool-down plus 2.5 k jog home.
Total 12k.
Might run here tomorrow as well. Grass oval is in top condition, nice and easy on the lower legs.
Run club had its 1 year birthday today - went out to celebrate with the gang. Thanks to The Owl and TigerAngel et al for organising the singlets - they look great - I'm going to give mine a test run tomorrow.
