Tuesday easy, Wednesday more of the same.
More aerobic running.
I am supposed to take it easy for the next 2 weeks including a few rest days until I feel
totally refreshed but I can't help running more than I'm supposed to.
Right foot arch pain is a bit tender and have sore lower abs/adductors - mainly from Sunday's downhill hard running, I feel it everytime I go down an incline. Must sretch more !!
Tuesday night did 15k around Balmain loop and return in 69.49.
Wednesday did 14k around the Bay in 67.14.
Both runs at an easy pace.
Will run on grass tomorrow night, take Friday off.
I don't have any short term plans regarding races at the moment but as part of my longer term assault on Canberra next year I want to run a solid half marathon each month probably starting in November at SMC, Central Coast Half in December and SMC in January.
This week I started base training for six weeks, basically aerobic / steady state training building to 110-120km per week. This should give a good platform to start an 18 week program to Canberra.
