The week in review
Monday          8k easy - 38 minutes 
Tuesday 12k including 10 mins of hills and a 10 min tempo around Sydney uni.
Wednesday 8k easy - 37 minutes
Thursday      6k before run club and 6k during - easy.
Friday            Deek fartlek at Sydney uni no.1 (oval now marked with accurate 400m track)
                          Good effort - 18.36 for 4.8k. 12k all up.
Saturday        easy 6k - 27 minutes. Got new shoes - 2 for 1 at pauls warehouse - walked home
                           from shops and developed sore heels wearing some old shoes - binned them !
Sunday           22k in 98 minutes including last 9k in 38 mins - pushed to a firm pace, could have 
                          run faster but heels very sore.
Total 80k.

Mate dont mention sore heel! You are maintaining a good base, with a smart couple of weeks you will run a bloody good half next month. Remember where you heard it second hand - 3 by 3s - speed and endurance, will see you smash it up at the smh.
