Monday & Tuesday Recoveries

Monday evening got out for a wet and windy jog for 30 mins around the local oval - all on grass - felt very flat and still a little stiff. When I got home after the race yesterday I remembered we were meeting friends for a picnic in the botanic gardens, farrkk !!!! A quick shower and change and back into the city - I was really flagging now and my feet were killing me, all I wanted to do was lie down but it was a beautiful afternoon spent catching up with friends.

Tonight it was pouring and very cool for this time of year, about 12 degrees. Fully rugged up in windproof jacket, tights and beany got out for another very easy run covering 13k in 61 mins. Ran down to Timbrell park and return - did not see another soul out ! Ended up not raining for the whole time I was out.
