mid-week mayhem - 17k in 73mins (4.18 pace)
Ran from work to home via the Harbour Bridge and Pyrmont. I really don't like running this way home, too many traffic lights, too many people to dodge and tonight, too many umbrella's.
It was pretty bleak leaving work tonight but alright once I got wet (which was about 3 mins). Had to get home to check on the girls as Fiona was out and make sure they got to dance class - they did. So I continued on for another 21 mins or so to get another 5k in. It was actually quite mild out and managed a good pace despite fairly slippery conditions in some places. The last 5k it had stopped raining and managed to run the loop without having to stop at traffic lights.
Give me the Bay anyday - it was a fairly shitty run all up with quite severe chafing thrown in for good measure.
