Getting back into it

Monday pm and ran the usual 10.25k route in 44.57 (4.23 pace). Felt very easy, legs starting to feel good again.

Tuesday and 13k loop skirting around the Bay and home via Victoria rd in 55.20 (4.15 pace) - bit harder effort but not really pushing it.

Wednesday night and I ran down thru Glebe Park and along the new waterfront track to Fish Markets and return. 9k at 4.36 pace. Very easy run.

Thursday afternoon and a 4.5k w/u in 18.42 down to CR5 at Hawthorn Canal. 9k tempo effort round the Bay and back to the Bridge over canal in 36.27 (4.03 pace). 5k jog home in 23 mins.
Total 18.5k.

On holidays in Tasmania for the next 10 days - weather forecast on Sunday is 13 max and Mountain snow ! Won't be anywhere near a computer so no blogging for a while.

Friday spent travelling and couldn't be arsed running after a longish drive from the airport.

Saturday ran for an hour, 30 mins out and back along the channel highway to Cygnet town. Bit dangerous, narrows shoulders on the road and the locals drive too fast ! Went to Hobart and Salamanca markets, Sandy Bay etc.

Sunday ran for 40 mins thru bush trails. Cold today with snow on the distant ranges above 600m. Visited Port Arthur (freezing) and got home late - 2hr drive each way.

Total about 72k run for the week.

I remember it snowing heavily near Lake St Claire one October. I hope you can get out on some of the lovely trails down there.
