Crazy weather

What crazy weather it is at the moment. The weekend gone was hot and humid but the last few days have been cold and wet.

Monday 7pm - 11k in 48.45 (4.26 pace) very easy.

Tuesday 6pm - Ran 4k w/u to Hawthorn Canal in 17 mins then 24 mins of fartlek skirting the bay and back down Victoria rd thru Glebe Park. Running as hard as I could between Drink fountains or traffic lights. 10 min c/d jog home. Total 13k in 52 mins.

Wednesday 5pm - 20.5k run home from work via the Bay in 86.13 (4.12 pace) smokin ! Gotta love that cool weather.

Thursday 7pm - another very windy day and cool. Ran start of 10k loop thru Petersham and Annandale and added Glebe Foreshore path along to Blackwattle Bay and return via Glebe.
Ended up with 13.3k in 60 mins (4.30 pace).

Friday - rest

Saturday 6am - up early with Nick around the Bay. 2k w/u then 10 mins of 1 min on/off and 10 mins of 30 on/off going thru 5k in 19.52. 2k c/d. Felt fresh and strong - could have kept up another 10 mins.

Sunday 7am - up early again and out to Smiffo for the SMC 21.1k. Warm morning and got more humid as the race went on. Felt a bit tired but not bad effort for 7th spot and first male over 40.
Time of 85.12 - faded between 12.5-17.5k, feeling dizzy and unfortable but started to come good at the last drink station to salvage a reasonable time. Will definitely run shirtless next month.
Nick had a good run for 84.15 or thereabouts.

Got out for 11k in the p.m. to round out another 100k week.
