long, cold, windy and wet - 29k in 2.21

When I got up this morning it had been raining overnight and a southerly change had come thru.
Just as I left the rain came down heavier and pretty much stayed that way for the whole run.

Left home at 7.30 and ran down to the Bay and completed a lap before meeting up with Daz, A.A, Freespirit and Macca. Virtually no-one out running today, I guess the rain, thunder and lightening put most people off. I think I saw only 4 or 5 people running and 2 of them coolrunners today. Ran with Springer for awhile but he was heading off home.

Met up with the guys and did another bay, hospital loop and canal. We picked up John Dawlings along the way who was also braving the elements, I then ran home.

I love running in the rain, only the diehards out and about, splashing thru puddles, but boy do I hate heavy wet shoes - must wear lighter shoes when it's raining .

Total 29k this morning run at a comfortable conversational pace.
