I'm feelin Hot, Hot, Hot .......
Sydneys extended hot weather makes training very difficult - especially as I don't like running in the morning.
Headed out on Tuesday for a steady run covering 13k in 55 mins.
Wednesday was really steamy and got in 10k in 45 mins. at about 8pm.
Thursday was a bit cooler and as we were at the in-laws we got to swim all day. Ran at Dunbar oval at Marsfield - haven't run there for ages (I grew up around the corner). The oval was in good condition with heaps of athletes training tonight as Rotary field is closed at the moment.
I did another 'quarters' session but as lanes 1/3 were closed and I had to run in lane 4 I didn't bother timing. 8 x400 with 200 jog recovery. Did 15 min w/u and c/d jog plus strides, drills etc
Total 13k.
