too busy - c.b.f

I've been too busy to bother with turning on the computer (reminds me of work) and with the heat and xmas etc, well I just c.b.f.

Run club had its xmas party on Thursday with a big turn-out for the usual fun and games and xmas festivities with Bruce voted a very deserving runner of the year. Ran about 4k beforehand but that's all.

Friday it was HOT but I still got out at 4.00pm for 18k in 81.50 (4.33 pace) ran with Dili for about 6k around The Bay before heading home along Victoria rd. It was 31 degrees when I left home but that was the only time I had to run. Good effort despite the heat.

How hot was Saturday - wasn't going to run at all but Southerly change blew up late afternoon so I got out for a Mona Fartlek at the local oval. Covered 5.52 k in 20 minutes which was the best effort I've ever done with warm-up and cool-down total distance was 9k.

Sunday - xmas day - didn't run - no time.

Monday - Ran from home, down to the Bay to meet Tim and A.A Ran a pretty easy 20k in 94 minutes.
