1/2 of a half

Met up with Brett, Mal, Tim, Ibby and Munch at 6.30 this morning for a steady lap of the SMH half course.
I left home just after 6 am to meet the others at the start line of the smh half in Hickson rd. I ran from home via King st down past Broadway and Wentworth park and over Darling harbour to meet up with the lads.
What a great morning - all week I've been running shirtless in the afternoon but this morning it was really cool - I ran with a long sleeve top and never felt hot - in fact barely raised a sweat. I love these cooler mornings - always run better.
It was good to run with a few people this morning before the traffic set in. Managed to run on the road for nearly the whole route without having to stop - fantastic. Quite a few others obviously had the same idea - so, not so secret training - with a couple of groups out on the course.
Second time I've run it in a week - there are quite a few hills with Hunter St the worst. Argyle St is definitely not as steep but a bit longer and the short sharp rise near the Art gallery is probably the steepest but only 50-60 metres long.

Anyways, ran home via Anzac bridge for a total of 23k in 1.44 (4.30 pace).

Secret training Steve. I passed a few people last year on that little hill just at the end of Art Galllery Rd near St Marys. Very short but pretty steep.
