End of week update

Thursday, Tim wanted some help at runclub got a few k's in before and then about 7k during.
Total 10k v.easy.

Friday, Up early (read 5.45 am) to run with Silverfox around Newtown, Victoria park and Sydney Uni in the pouring rain - felt like the middle of winter, wet, dark and misty - great to catch up on another v.easy run. 10k total.

Saturday, Up early again for a 6.00 am start to meet Ross, Boof, Andrew T, Greg, Malcolm and the other Timbrell park boys for a run thru the SMH course. Ran from home to Drummoyne, back into the city via Anzac Bridge, a lap of the course, back over Anzac Bridge and home via Glebe and Camperdown for a total of 29k in 2.15 . Felt great, no niggles, not sore and really was just cruising it - very happy with the endurance now - ran at about 4.40 pace on a very hilly course, we stopped a few times to re-group/get water, a very enjoyable run.

Sunday - got out for a run after Mother's day family lunch. Left home at 5.30 pm just getting dark, running the 6k from home down to the Bay in 26.33, then pushed out a firm 7k lap of the Bay in 27.42 (3.57 pace) and then an easy 6k jog home. Total 18k in 78 mins.

111k for the week - biggest week for ages and feeling great. A small taper this week before next Sunday's SMH half.

Nice to catch up again last friday - although your very easy run was bloody hard work for me, it was a real struggle! Thanks for easing up, I didnt have much more left! My crystal ball sees a very big half for you next week, run your own race mate and have a solid plan. Be tough when you need to be but above all run smart. Best wishes, I have a good feeling you are really going to nail it (and it couldnt happen to a more deserving or nicer bloke).
