midweek catch-up

Wednesday
Ran home from work via the usual route of St.Leonards, Lane Cove, Hunters Hill and Victoria rd thru Rozelle, Glebe and home. Got to Camperdown when my left thigh started to cramp and I was reduced to a walk. Up till then had covered 15k in 63.45 (4.15 pace). Felt the leg start to stiffen along Victoria rd and it got steadily tighter until I finally had to stop about 1k from home.
Leg felt quite stiff after the run but not sore ? Got better as the night went on.

Thursday
Woke up on Thursday with my leg feeling fine. Ran after work, a 3k warm-up to Petersham oval. I was hoping the floodlights would be on and they were, meant I didn't have to run to the Bay.
Did 6 x 2 mins with a 1 min walk recovery, then 8 x 1 min also with 1 min walk recovery.
Started off a little scratchy but felt pretty good doing the 1 minuters.
Did some strides and drills to finish off. On the jog home my leg stiffened again and was reduced to a walk - It's not painful, just a stiff crampy feeling in the muscle on the inside of the upper leg just above the knee.
Total 12k.

Rest today and Striders 10k tomorrow - just have to see how it goes - I can always pull out at 5k if the leg doesn't feel right.
